How to enrol in Medicare

To enrol in Medicare, there are 3 steps:

Step 1:

Complete a Medicare Enrolment Form.

Step 2:

Fetch your supporting documents, as listed on the Medicare Enrolment Form.

Step 3:

Send your Medicare Enrolment Form and supporting documents to Medicare Enrolment Services by:

Once you have enrolled in Medicare, you will be given a Medicare Card, which looks like this:

It usually takes 3-4 weeks for Medicare to send out your card.
