What is CBHS Corporate? 

CBHS Corporate Health (CBHS Corporate) is a private health insurer that operates as an open health insurer. 

It offers health cover for individuals and workplaces.

CBHS Corporate is part of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia Group (CBA Group). 

Background 

In 1951, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia set up CBHS Health, which was originally known as The Commonwealth Bank Health Society. Its aim was to give its staff access to affordable health insurance. It is a closed health fund. 

In 2016, the CBA Group launched CBHS Corporate as an open health fund.

In 2025, it launched CBHS International, which provides Overseas Visitor Health Cover and Overseas Student Health Cover.

In June 2026, CBHS Corporate merged with CBHS Health.

Who can join CBHS Corporate?

As of June 2026, CBHS Corporate policies are no longer available to buy. If you have a CBHS Corporate policy, your policy is now managed by CBHS Health.
