Extras Cover is a type of health insurance that helps you pay for out-of-hospital health services that are not covered by Medicare

It is also known as general treatment or ancillary cover.

Extras Cover can include medical services and allied health services such as Physiotherapy, General Dental and Chiropractic.

It is different from Hospital Cover, which covers the cost of being treated as a private patient in hospital.
