Are overseas visitors and overseas students eligible for the Private Health Insurance Rebate?

No. If you are an overseas visitor or overseas student, you are not eligible for the Private Health Insurance Rebate because it is only available on Private Health Insurance for Australian residents.

You may have Overseas Visitors Health Cover or Overseas Student Health Cover. Unfortunately, the Private Health Insurance Rebate does not apply to these health insurance policies.
